Spot UV varnish or resin designs can be applied to create a clear highlight on a contrasting surface such as uncoated cardboard or, more commonly, a matte laminate finish.
The cost of spot UV highlight is similar to emboss / deboss, custom forme and foil - starting at around $250+gst per decoration (subject to decoration size).
Designs requiring spot UV print should, like similar decorations, include a single colour (usually 100% K) spot UV separation in addition to the normal CMYK design files.
