Custom Multi-Disc Printed Cardboard Packs
We can modify any of the templates in our printed cardboard pack range to add additional pouches and trays to add extra discs, booklets, or other inserts. We can add panels, change fold orientation, add or remove spines. We can add custom windows and shapes.
The cost will typically be the same as a similar pack in our standard range, plus a fixed one-time fee to create the new template and cutting forme.

Custom Hardcover & Semi-Hardcover Packs
Hardcover jackets are constructed from gluing printed 120gsm paper to 28oz or 32oz greyboard stock. Semi-hardcover packs substitute 300gsm card folded to 600gsm instead of the greyboard.
We then add printed glued endpapers, section sewn or saddle-stitch booklets, and either cardboard disc pouches or foam disc holder dots.
These beautiful packs are typically imported rather than produced locally, due to the very specialised construction.

Custom Book Printing & Binding
We offer case-bound hardcover, PUR binding, perfect / burst / lock and limp binding, spiral binding, saddle-stitch, singer-sewn, section sewn, calendar loop and more.
Printing is A1 or A2 plate offset (500+) or digital offset (under 500) with a wide choice of PEFC, FSC, post consumer waste stocks for easy read text, premium CMYK colour reproduction, and softcover 200-350gsm card. Special binding and long format fold out covers and inner pages can be accommodated.
Every book is customised to our client's size and pagination requirements. If you require a disc on the inside front or back cover, we have self-adhesive PVC sleeves and glue dot options.
All Replicat book printing and binding is produced locally in Melbourne. Typical lead time is 3 to 6 weeks depending on the complexity of the printing and binding required. Artwork is typically supplied as sequential PDF pages and must include bleed. We encourage clients to use a flip book style previewer to check the final design before submission.
Custom Slipcases & Boxes
Custom softcover, slipcase and box set packaging is available for disc and USB albums. These packs are commonly used for large multi-disc premium collector sets.
We create a softcover wallet on 350gsm heavy card, folded double to 700gsm, and typically gloss or matte laminated Then we add printed booklets, disc hubs, single or double trays, pouches, EVA foam USB holders, and one or more physical CD DVD or USB media.
Every pack is different and customised to our client's requirements. Standard 140 x 125mm CD and 190 x 130mm DVD (or 'tall') are common, but we can go larger or smaller on request.
Typical lead time is 10-12 weeks depending on current shipping options. Quotes include custom template creation as part of the production process - and if necessary white (unprinted) sample production to test spine width, fold, direct mail dimensions and feel.
